The I am Döner revolution started when founder, Paul Baron (a Michelin-trained chef), took on the challenge of transforming the lowly kebab into something so much more than a late-night treat for the intoxicated. And boy, did he succeed.
With a focus on serving up truly delicious grub; I am Döner kebabs are made with the very freshest and highest-quality ingredients. Each kebab is wrapped in a fluffy flatbread (which are handmade in store daily) and each dish can be customised, so there’s something for everyone.
Alongside all the fillings you’d expect from a kebab (and some that you wouldn’t – vegan döner, anyone?), the Camden store will also serve the world-famous Christmas dinner döner. A mighty kebab, stuffed with turkey and all the trimmings? Merry Christmas, indeed.
To celebrate their arrival in the capital city, they’re offering up some cash prizes and hefty discounts to the first visitors to the store. After all, you know what they say: the early bird catches the worm kebab. The very first person in the queue will receive a £150 cash voucher, with the second and third cusomters in the queue will receive £100 and £50 respectively.
And that’s not all! The first 100 customers will get their hands on an instant win scratchcard on which they can win up to 40% off their next order. They will also be offering 50% off their kebabs between December 1 and December 3 for those who sign up in advance. Aren’t they a generous lot?
