The surest sign that sunnier times and warmer climes are on their way? Rooftops, baby! And the crowning jewel of Camden’s rooftop bar scene, The Lucky Club Camden, is leading the charge. Following a winter hiatus, they’ve just reopened their getaway bar for the warm season. So, sure, it may be freezing cold right now, as we endure a cold snap, but rooftop season is just ahead on the horizon!
To kick off their opening celebrations, they’re also promising plenty of goodies. With the Easter weekend coinciding with their re-opening, they’ll be doling out complimentary bubbles to the first 100 booked in for Easter weekend, as well as goodie bags and non-stop happy hour throughout the four-day holiday. On the menu at The Lucky Club
The Lucky Club Camden has given their menu a full overhaul, with all new food and cocktail options, and plenty of budget-friendly options. Don’t worry, though, as the emphasis is still very much on tacos and margaritas!
Among the new food options are the Loaded Burritos, which join the likes of the large plate Sharing Nachos and Quesadillas. Meanwhile, the taco line-up is supplemented by the new additions of Battered Halloumi Tacos with Mexican Slaw and chipotle mayo, and the dirty-but-delicious vegan Deep Fried Artichoke Tacos with red cabbage, coconut cream, and dill. These now jostle for space on the menu at The Lucky Club alongside their stalwart offerings of Pulled Lamb Birria Tacos, Cheeseburger Tacos, Oyster Mushroom Tacos, and more.
And yes, now that they’ve re-open you can be sure they’ll be keeping up their Taco Tuesday promotion. You’ll be able to grab plates of tacos priced at just £2.50 per taco!
The drinks
As for the drinks, they’ve got new additions to their extensive margarita menu, as well as wholly new choices. Drinks range from the Tropical, with reposado tequila, guava juice, kiwi syrup, and passion fruit syrup, to their weekly changing flavours of Frozen Daiquiris. There’s also a special experience for tequila lovers: the Taste of Mexico flight, which offers up six serves of unique tequila and mezcal for those looking to explore the possibilities of agave.
Complementing the new drink options is the launch of a new drinks deal too, with their Lucky Hours drinks pricing. Every day, from 9pm-close, drinks will be priced at happy hour prices, with the chance to roll some dice and win a free drink. And as if that wasn’t enough, they’re also bringing back their 2 for £12 Cocktail Mondays deal. It’s just the balm we need at the start of each week!
Indecisive, or simply unable to choose from all of the options? Leave it to the Lucky 8 ball, which will make your choice for you. Some lucky shakers will even get a shot of tequila on the house!
Said Louis Hartshorn, co-founder of The Lucky Club Camden:
“After a cold winter, we’re thrilled to be reopening our roof terrace cocktail and taco bar once again to welcome in Spring in Camden. We’ve worked hard to create a fresh new look and menu that our customers will love and can’t wait to welcome everyone back to celebrate Easter with complimentary fizz, goodie bags, and happy hour all weekend long.”
So, we just have one question for you: Are you feeling lucky?
